About A1 Touchless Automatic Car Wash
Located at 5 Wood St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003, A1 Touchless Automatic Car Wash operates as a car wash serving Bloomfield in New Jersey. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Bloomfield is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bloomfield is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

It's a nice experience if you haven't tried it before. The kids loved it, but it didn't clean anything. The only benefit is that they're open when the regular car washes are closed. Not really much of a benefit if it can't clean your car.

Was hesitant to come because of the last few reviews but was in the area and figured i'd try. No issues at all and great outcome. These touchless laser washes are hard to come by in Jersey. Happy to have found one.

Been going to this car wash for over 2+ years and never had a problem, the washes were good and it left my cars very clean. For a few months now Iโve been using different cards to pay and nothing works, just washed my car today Monday, march 9 and I payed for the 8 dollar car wash but when I came out my car looks the exact same, the only thing that seemed to be washed was the wheels and thatโs it. Owner needs to check the machines and have more tips for the vacuums and fix the quarter machine as well. If he doesnโt do anything about it heโs going to be losing many customers

Great place for Touchless car wash. Super affordable prices. The water pressure is very good. The whole process is easy to go through and totally worth it. Definitely recommend

I recently took my Toyota TRD 4x4 Sport to this automatic car wash, expecting a convenient and thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, the results were underwhelming. Despite going through the full wash cycle, there was still visible dirt and grime on the lower panels and around the wheelsโareas that should have been addressed with proper water pressure or additional scrubbing. While the upper surfaces looked decent, it seems like the wash struggles with reaching tougher spots, especially on larger vehicles like trucks and SUVs. For the price, I expected a much better outcome. If you're looking for a quick rinse, this might work, but for a truly clean vehicle, go elsewhere. Would NOT recommend for deep cleaning needs. Now I need to figure out how to get a refund.
